An introduction to Ei Asset
Ei Asset is a skills-based assessment that evaluates grade 3 – 10 students’ conceptual understanding of core STEM subjects including science, English, maths and computational thinking.
The software is built upon the world’s largest database of students’ learning misconceptions – the most common stumbling blocks or faulty thinking that hinders their ability to learn and master essential subject matter.
Ei Asset enables school leaders and teachers to understand – at a macro and micro level – where their students are struggling, where additional learning resources are required, and how they’re performing against industry or group-level benchmarks.
How it works
Ei Asset evaluates a student’s level of understanding by asking unfamiliar and thought-provoking questions that measure how well students truly understand what they learn, rather than how well they memorise it.
Unlike conventional exams that test recall, EI ASSET uses carefully designed questions for key STEM subjects to reveal students’ conceptual strengths and misconceptions. Each learner receives a detailed, personalised report identifying specific skills to strengthen, while teachers and schools receive benchmarking data comparing their performance at an individual, group-school and regional level.
